So, I've been thinking about Sentoo part 1 & 2. I haven't yet seen them, and I'd like to know what you all think of them. I know that they're the fodder for many a story, but what do you think of the episodes themselves, as fans of the show? Did you like them, love them, hate them? Any pet peeves? What do you think could have been done better? Speak, ladies! This could be a great discussion, I think. Chat at me!

I wrote some meta about this one too back in my 'getting to know' you stage of my fandom involvement.

The fact that she split up Jim and Blair (Jim kicks Blair out of the loft) and then killed Blair was perfect h/c fodder -- except we didn't get much comfort. Stunning spirit bonding scenes and a distraught Jim, though.
Jim close to letting her shoot Blair and kissing her -- a world of no.
And then they just dropped it. Never got mentioned canonically ever again that Blair died and Jim brought him back from the dead.
Ever.
Thank God for fic.
The PTB loathed the whole mystical arc and wanted to get back to super cop solves cases premise so it was all wiped away.

So, shoot Blair.. okay, I can live with that because Jim brought him back.. I can even live with the throwing out of loft thing.. but what I can't live with is Jim attitude (he goes all: you betrayed me and I'll never forgive you shit! That is so not Jim to me!! Me love Jim!! TTwTT ) in the second part and all that protect Alex/kissing bit.. *shudder*
I also doesn't like the whole connection between Alex and Jim.. see the same visions.. that's supposed to be between Blair and Jim.. (I'm a hopeless Jim/Blair fan.)
And like janedavitt said: They never mention this death/Alex/Whatever ever again!! I went like, WOT!!??
The thing I like though is that Megan finds out about the whole Sentinel bit and keeps quiet! Aww, me love Megan! <3
They could have focused more on Jim and Blair in those eps I thought. I mean, more from their POW. And not so much, "solve the case" as it usually is in high speed action shows.
